Dead For Five Days

Sometimes I feel like the character in this story. Particularly, I'm feeling that way tonight. I know the tale, even in all its variations, is pretty morbid. But really, don't you ever wonder if anyone would notice if you died at your desk? Or do you wonder if anyone would notice if you suddenly dropped off the face of the internet? Or the earth?

I'm beginning to wonder who would notice if I did. Granted, I know there are some people out there who would...

..but I doubt there are all that many. I guess it's about the quantity, not the quality...

...but that isn't very comforting at the moment. Just a thought, anyway.

Me would notice. Me not always notice everything, but me would notice that. Truth am, me would chalk up first week or so to you being busy. Then me would wonder if you am on long trip of something. Then me would worry if anything happen to you and convince meself nothing bad happen and start planning how to give you hard time next time me see you. Then me really start to worry and start asking around about you. Then me find place you dropped off face of intrnet/earth and build monument.

What you like for something like that? Me was thinking of Darth Vader on one knee weeping into one hand while other hand hold small bust of you. Bronze plaque have nice words there too like "Here am where very special person drop off face of internet/earth. May Force be with her."

The real question is "Would Sara notice?" I'll add it to my list of WWSD (What Would Sara Do?) ponderings.
