Blah

I spent the entire weekend with a stomach bug. A stomach bug I caught from a student who should probably have NEVER been sent to school. Okay, I appreciate the fact that my kid's parents need to get to work, but this isn't even a working mom!!! I also appreciate that they think I am doing a good job teaching them so they really want them at school. What I do not appreciate is spending my week working with their kids and THEN spending my weekends wishing I had worked with the child at least one day less.

I love your kid. I want to have positive memories of them too. Not "Gee, that's the kid who made me sick as a dog one weekend..."

All I can say is that, although I wouldn't wish a stomach virus on perhaps anyone other than my worst enemy, maybe it would be appropriate that you catch the bug too...

Changes around here

Okay, it might be a teeny-tiny bit presumptuous because this isn't even my blog really (though I am a contributor), but I added Carrie's Tweets, took down the two test posts, fixed the RSS, changed the title (ahem, again presumptuous, but I made the goofy original title in the first place ::grins::), switched up a few e-mail addresses, switched web hosts, added some storage space to her hosting account ... and, uh, posted this post. :D

So there you go. One and done. Actually, more like three days and done ... but whatever. Blame the DNS.

Enjoyed having you here in Chucktown, Carrie. It's always a blast. <3
